The following International Youth Council positions
will be elected at camp this summer (2008) for 2 year terms: |

- North East Region: ME, NH, VT, CT, MA, RH, DE, NY, PA, NJ, DC, MD, VA, WV, NC, OH
- South East Region: SC, GA, FL, AL, TN, MS
- South Central Region: TX, OK, LA, AR, MO, KS
- North Central Region: IN, MI, IL, KY, WI, MN, IA, ND, SD, NE
- Rocky Mountain Region: WY, CO, NM, AZ, UT
- Pacific Northwest Region: AK, WA, OR, ID, MT
- Northern CA Region: CA North of San Luis Obispo CO.
- Southern CA SO Region: CA South of Orange County

Election and Term:
The International Youth Council members are elected at the annual IYFM Global Teen Camp to two (2) year terms, with the possibility of being re-elected to one successive term. Teens who are 14-17 years old are eligible to run. Teens who are 17 years old may only run for a 1-year term.
Youth council members must reside in the region they represent.
Youth seeking election at Global Camp 2008 must have a personal statement regarding their intentions and their commitment to serve and a letter of recommendation from their Senior Minister on file with IYFM Director prior to the election. |

United Centers for Spiritual Living International Youth
Council member requirements: |

|
|
| |
- Commit to a daily personal spiritual practice, and as part of that practice, always hold in consciousness the highest vision of youth and youth ministries in Religious Science.
- Coordinate with Regional IYFM Director to support regional training and youth events, and to support the development of existing and new youth ministries.
- Attend church at least three out of the four, or four out of the five Sundays of every month.
- Complete Foundations of Science of Mind class by the end of your first year on Youth Council.
- Attend and fully participate in the annual Global Youth Camp and UCSL Community Gathering.
- Live as an example of the International Youth Council’s purpose, mission and vision (as well as the IYFM/UCSL Code of Conduct) in all aspects of your life including your social life, school, web presence, at all church, regional and national and international functions. This means to be in integrity with your role as a leader. Do what you say and say what you do.
- Be an excellent representative of the International Youth Council and the United Centers for Spiritual Living Global Heart Vision. This means to demonstrate your leadership in UCSL by the example that is your life.
- Be powerful and fearless in demonstrating The Global Heart Vision.
- Fully participate in at least two activities, within your region, per quarter (every three months) such as: regional youth council, youth fund raising, church overnights (lock-ins), youth speaking engagements, camp planning, regional camps and/or retreats, church community building events, and/or other church sponsored youth events.
- Respond to telephone calls, e-mail messages and/or letters from Religious Science Youth, the Youth Community Spiritual Leader, other Youth Council members and IYFM staff within forty-eight hours of receiving the message.
- Have as much fun as possible while serving on the International Youth Council!
