MYSTERIOUS HOME PURCHASE

I had published a book and had called in for prayer for its financial success. My husband and I were trying to buy a home in a very expensive financial market in California. We needed my book to be a success. Strangely, the book was not a financial success (although I haven't given up on it. I was on Geraldo and Oprah has inquired about it), but we were able to buy a wonderful home without the money we were relying on from the book. It was a miracle, we both believe, that we were able to buy our home, and still can't quite figure out how we did it. It was God's intervention, undoubtedly. My testimony is, I guess, that God does work in mysterious ways. He opens other avenues to goals that you may not have dreamed existed. We truly believed that my book had to be a success for the money to come through to buy a house. God found other ways. While I was knocking myself out about the book's success, He was doing other things. I know God works miracles, sometimes they come quietly while you're looking in the other direction. God is in control, and perhaps He wanted to teach me that. I am happy He is. Keep praying because I know God listens to prayer, and answers in His own way, and in His own time.
