Criteria for Application for Vision Facilitator : |
The Vision Facilitator position is designed to support UCRS covenanted churches in Visioning. Vision Facilitators work in harmony with the Ecclesiastical Representative in their area. This is a volunteer position certified by UCRS to represent UCRS only. This position requires a one-year commitment with re-certification annually, and a willingness to receive feedback from covenanted member churches and the Vision Core Coordinator. |

Available for training in Denver , JUNE 3, 2006 (no exceptions) |
| |
|
- Travel day Friday, June 2 to Denver
- Training day Saturday, June 3
- Travel home - evening of June 3
|
| |
|
Covenant Church membership: active, loyal and supporting member of a covenanted UCRS church/spiritual community. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
SOM Philosophy/Spiritual Practice: demonstrated (completed Foundational and Spiritual Practices coursework) understanding and application of SOM philosophy and spiritual practices. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Visioning Experience/Familiarity: demonstrated personal experience with visioning and experience in using visioning in your spiritual community (vision core membership, facilitation, regular attendance in ministry visioning). |

|
| |
|
Visioning Facilitation Experience: demonstrated understanding of visioning and visioning facilitation experience. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
General Facilitation experience required : demonstrated general facilitation experience (business, education, workshops, meetings, etc). |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Letter of support/recommendation: from minister (if you are a layperson or practitioner). |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Email access and comfort communicating via email and conference call. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
1-year commitment: Time/Availability to serve as visioning facilitator with minimum 1-year commitment. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Support covenanted members via email and phone calls. This will be the main mode of communication. |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Quarterly conference call with Vision Core Coordinator and vision facilitator team . |
| |
|
|
| |
|
Available for in-person trainings. This will be predicated on travel and budget implications of the churches inviting facilitator to assist in person . |
| |
|
|
| Final selection of Vision Facilitators to be based on a phone interview and successful completion of certification/training in Denver on June 3 rd. |

Please have at least one of these recommendations address your experience in the use and facilitation of visioning.
