A native of Mexico , Rev. Rebeka discovered SOM in Vancouver Canada, her home of 27 years. She served there on the Board and as a Practitioner for over 12 years. In 1998 she moved to Mexico City to found Ciencia de la Mente MÉXICO.

Dr. Rebeka is a graduate of the Holmes Institute, Huntington Beach Campus, and was recently granted an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree. Her personal vision is: “ to leave the legacy of a powerful and self-supporting Center to the people of Mexico . To assist to the expansion of our teachings in the Spanish Speaking World, and to continue to create and provide educational material and guidance to anyone in New Thought that may require it and request it.”

Ciencia de laMente’s main Center is located in Colonia Del Valle (not too far from the famous Chapultepec Park ). There are also two branches in the southern and eastern parts of the city. Altogether they offer 12 to 14 classes a week, numerous workshops, a weekly Monday Night Meditation Service and many related activities to an average of 200 students. A comprehensive Scholarship program is provided for low income students.

As a Center for Spiritual Living, CMMex does its best to live the Visionof The Global Heart of “a World that works for every one” through extensive humanitarian work. They assist in providing food and shelter to indigenous people with serious medical conditions coming to the capital to receive medical treatment. They raise funds to buy wheelchairs, walking sticks and other medical supplies as well as groceries, used clothing, toys, and cleaning supplies to an average of 40 families. In winter time they join in the organization of Operación Cobija to distribute blankets to the homeless.

CMMex has eleven active Practitioners, six of them teaching classes. In 2007, 14 Practitioner Candidates will take their exams.
