Neil Maycock came into contact with Science of Mind teachings through a member of the Salt Lake City Church of Religious Science. It was a life-changing encounter for him. After visiting the Salt Lake City church, he was determined to share this philosophy with others upon return to his native England . He says, “I’ve been a religious scientist for the past 8 years. It has been a great journey in which I have watched my spirit grow by using various techniques. I have visited the Science Of Mind Church in Utah , and the UK Discovery Centre in London .

“I have found visioning a very important tool to my growth, and my favourite book is ‘The Game of Life and How to Play It’ by Florence Scovel Shinn”.

His computer background led to the logical direction of a computer outreach program and developed into a truly global group with members in countries around the globe.

Neil has been the group leader of an on-line chat room from his home in Sheffield , England for the past year. He has recently changed his approach by opening a new website at www.spiritualconversations.invisionzone.com. His intention is to provide daily affirmations and a site where discussions of Science of Mind subjects and books can be carried on with people who are unable to attend a physical church or study group or just prefer to communicate through cyberspace. He provides links to several sites, such as Mile Hi and CSL Seattle, where people can hear the previous Sunday’s talks.

"I am also in close contact with the Global Heart on-line study group, and have included a link to their site from mine. I would like to eventually open up a group live chat and to have guest appearances with authors, ministers, members of UCRS to discuss the work they are doing. Obviously this may involve a fee of some kind, but this is a wider vision that I see for the group."
