Rev. Galina Emeliyanova invites you to her annual summer conference “Conscious Relationships” held July 27-August 5, in a beautiful, secluded, and magical birch forest in the heart of Russia. You have the opportunity to take center stage, share your wisdom, and be adored by SOM students from all over Russia.

Rev. Galina started the “Fond of Positive Thinking” after she was introduced to SOM in 1991. When Rev. Ron Rude moved to Russia in 1993, she invited him to come to Izhevsk to be their teacher. Ron did and he chartered a center with over 200 registered members and licensed 29 practitioners ( Izhevsk and Votkinsk). He also arranged for International Novitiate Ministerial licenses for Galina, Alexander (Sasha) Tensin, and Svetlana Kashishena before moving south to Maikop in 2001. They had all been paneled and licensed at the summer conference the year before. Galina assumed leadership of the group in Izhevsk and Sasha and Svetlana taught in Votkinsk.

Galina was previously an engineer in the Kalashnikov rifle factory. She now devotes her life to teaching SOM and helping people become aware that love not fear is their true essence. In addition to the classes she teaches in Izhevsk, she travels once a month to Kazan (60 students), and Moscow (about 20 students). She is assisted in teaching by her daughter-in-law Maria. They have also created a self-esteem course which is taught in the orphanages in Izhevsk and Votkinsk. It has had a very beneficial effect on the orphans and is much valued by the staff.

In 2001 Rev. Dr. Kathy Hearn led the first Global Heart Journey to the summer conference. Six new practitioners were paneled. There are now 22 practitioners in Izhevsk, but only 12 are active. Galina is seeking a “teacher of teachers” to help the others gain confidence and learn to be teachers. There are also 9 practitioner candidates ready to be paneled at the summer 2007 conference.

Galina’s group also has winter conferences held at a ski resort outside of Izhevsk the first week of January. In 2007 there were over 100 participants. They combined deeply meaningful learning with the sheer fun of skiing for a very successful conference.

Rev. Galina has the opportunity to attend the Gathering in Vancouver in 2006. She was so grateful to have an opportunity to be a part of the larger organization and to meet so many people who share this philosophy.
