Ana Fumarco, RScP

Ana Fumarco began her study group in her native Buenos Aires in 1999 after living in the US and getting her practitioner’s license at Agape Center in 1998. Her center is called “Centro Argentino de Cienca de la Mente”.

Buenos Aires is a beautiful and sophisticated city-once called the “Paris of Latin America.” It has fallen on tough economic times in recent years. Now things are getting better and hope is coming back. Poverty is still a problem, though. The average monthly salary is only $435, which is barely enough to pay the rent and put food on the table. Because of that, she has taught many inexpensive or free workshops which have been well attended. Some of the workshops have been on Self-esteem, The Four Agreements, Communication, and Changes. Since she began teaching more than two hundred people have attended her classes, workshops and talks. She now has two students in Practitioner I and two more ready to begin.

She recently lost her father, so is spending more time with her mother who lives in a town 450 KM south of Buenos Aires . In April she will begin classes there in a new Centro Argentino de la Ciencia de la Mente. She hopes that her new website, www.cienciadelamente.com.ar will attract many new students.

She says she needs more teaching material in Spanish, inspirational material in Spanish or English, and money for publicity. She also wants to take course work from Holmes Institute as she “yearns to learn more.”
