Science of Mind affirms the Absolute Reality of God, the unity, divinity, and sacredness of all life, the inherent wholeness and worth of each person, and right of each to the good of life.  We believe in the incarnation of the Spirit in us, and that all people are incarnations of the One Spirit.  We believe in the eternal Goodness, the eternal Loving-kindness, and the eternal Givingness of Life to all.  We believe in a world that works for everyone where Abundance, Joy, Happiness, Peace, and Love are our inherent and natural states of being.

The work of the Social Issues Committee is to identify local and global issues that are relevant to a world that works for everyone, to apply spiritual principles and move forward into appropriate action.

Because we see a world free of homelessness, racism, violence, war, hunger, separation and disenfranchisement, the sacred intentions of this Committee are:

• To respect and preserve the dignity of every being, to universally ensure human rights,  to promote freedom of expression, and freedom in all its forms. 
• To be conscious stewards of the environment and preserve the sanctity of creation.
• To develop and engage in activities that cooperate with the laws of nature allowing the earth to return to its natural state of being.
• To dedicate ourselves to support all efforts that uphold and spread peace through nonviolence and cooperation.
• To align, integrate and co-create with others of like mind.

We believe all humans are instruments in creating a world that works for everyone.

The Social Issues Committee is dedicated to create and support activities both locally and globally, which implement and fulfill these sacred intentions. We envision the emergence of the Global Heart to balance and guide the further evolution of humanity. 

We see a world in which there is generous and continuous sharing of heart and resources. . .a world in which forgiveness, whether for errors, injustices, or debts, is the norm. . .a world in which borders are irrelevant. . .a world which has renewed its emphasis on beauty, nature and love through a resurgence of creativity, art, and aesthetics. . .a world in which fellowship prospers and connects through the guidance of spiritual wisdom and experience. . .a world in which we live and grow as One Human Family.

We are dedicated to support all conscious and peaceful efforts to bring forth this vision of the Global Heart.
