New on-line Professional Practitioner
Studies classes, Years One and Two with Rev. Dr. Christina Tillotson
will begin in September, 2006
There are are
additional paces available in both classes. Enrollment is again
open from August 15-23, 2006. Please do
not register or pay your tuition before that. You can e-mail

Please read and follow all of the directions
below before registering. Please only register during the official
registration times listed above.
Year One will begin on Tuesday, Sept. 12,
2006, 7:30 - 10:30 PM Eastern Time, 4:30 - 7:30 PM Pacific time
for 30 weeks ending with a retreat in the San Diego area June-3,
2007.
If you took your basic classes at a church, you will need
a Minister's recommendation to enroll in Professional Practitioner
Studies on-line.
Year Two, for which video conferencing equipment
is required, will begin on Thursday, Sept. 21, 2006, 7:30 - 10:30
PM Eastern Time, 4:30 - 7:30 PM Pacific time for 30 weeks ending
with a retreat June 2-4 2007. Licensing panels will take place
at the UCRS Asilomar retreat, August 6, 2007.
IMPORTANT NOTE:
If you belong to a UCRS affiliated church or live closer than
30 miles to a church, you need to have your Minister's e-mailed
permission to enroll in an on-line class and your Minister's
e-mailed recommendation to enroll in Professional Practitioner
Studies. PLEASE do not enroll or pay your deposit until you have
that permission and recommendation. If you are not a member of
a church and live 30 miles away from a church or further, you
do not need a Minister's permission. These classes are created
for you.
Once you have paid your deposit, your space is held and your
deposit is not refundable.

The 30 weeks are divided
into 3 10-week terms.
Tuition
and Materials for Year One
Tuition for the full year-long, 90 hour course is $750. Each
ten week term is $250. A payment of $250 for Term I holds your
space. The remainder can be paid throughout the year.
Other Expenses for the full year:
There will be six one and one-half hour phone conferences
during the year, two during each trimester. So, if your long
distance rate is more than 5 or 10 cents a minute, you may want
to look into a cheaper long distance provider.
The year will complete with a weekend retreat during June
2-4, 2005 at the Questhaven Retreat Center in San Marcos, CA
in North San Diego . So, please be prepared to pay a room
and board fee to be determined as well as the plane fare. (Obtaining
a frequent flyer mile airline credit card is HIGHLY recommended.)

How
Practitioner Studies Year One is conducted:
1. Practitioner One is conducted in REAL TIME in a
private chat room. The agendas and information for each class
will be posted at a web address e-mailed to students before each
class session. Students can print out the agendas and information
or open a second web browser window connected to the class web
site so that the agenda and the chat room can be seen at the
same time.
2. Extra expenses: Students will attend a 2 day in-person
retreat in the San Diego area at the end of the year, and phone
conferences conducted several times a year during class time.
3. After you are registered, you will receive by mail a CD
of the meditations and visualizations for the class and the same
workbook that is used in classes in Religious Science Churches.

The Life of a Practitioner

The 30 weeks are divided

Because of possible technical
and personal challenges, this class requires a complete commitment
to the path of a Practitioner. This class is limited to a certain
number of students because of the video conferencing system capabilities.
Tuition
and Technology for Practitioner Studies, Year Two
1. Tuition for the full year-long,
90 hour course is $750. Each ten week term is $250. A $250 payment
for Term I holds your space. The remainder can be paid throughout
the year.
2. Practitioner Two, The Life of a Practitioner,
will require real time video conferencing. You will need
a high-speed Internet connection such as DSL or cable. A regular
phone connections will not work. Please be prepared to purchase
a computer camera and microphone (about $129) to connect to a
USB 2 or Fire Wire port on your computer.You will need the iVisist
Plus software, which will be part of a group purchase. Because
of the group purchase, you will pay $25 for the software instead
of the usual $40. Once you are registered, your instructor will
assist you in making sure you have the right technology. There
will be a couple of practice video chats before classes begin
to make sure that all class members have the proper technology
and that it is working correctly.
3. Extra expenses: Students will attend two 2
1/2 -day in-person retreats during Practitioner Studies, Year
II. One retreat will be June 2-5, 2007 at the Questhaven Retreat
Center in San Marcos, CA for graduation and mock panels at Seaside
Church in Encinitas, CA. The second retreat will part of the
United Church of Religious Science Asilomar conference in Pacific
Grove, CA during the first week of August.
