Every year since 1992, Reverend Jim & a group of dedicated friends have decorated the Hospice of St. John for the Christmas Holidays.  Since the founding of The Denver Church of Religious Science in 1997, the Church has joyously provided this wonderful gift for the residents, the staff, & the families & friends who walk through the doors of the hospice at this time of year.  What a wonderful gift of lights & celebration we provide for so many people at this time of change & transition, to see the eyes of the residents at this, their last Christmas of this lifetime, is more than a gift to our volunteers than the gift we give to them.

If you would like to join our decorating team this year, please sign up at the Activities & Events Counter downstairs after service on Sunday.  We will be decorating the hospice starting at 10:00am on Saturday November 24th (the Saturday following Thanksgiving).  We will also need a small group to assist in taking down the decorations on Saturday January 12th.

If you ever have difficulty getting into the Holiday Spirit, we guarantee this will get you in the Spirit, with a joyous gift for those who appreciate it so much.
